The neck and décolletage often reveal photoageing, dehydration and loss of tension faster than the face. The skin in these areas is thinner, dries out easily and requires regular sun protection.

Neck carboxytherapy can be one element of a plan, but it does not replace home care, SPF or qualification for the treatment.

What does CO2 carboxytherapy involve?

Carboxytherapy involves administering medical carbon dioxide into a specific area. In cosmetology it is considered, among other things, when working with microcirculation, skin quality, laxity, stretch marks, scars and selected body problems.

When can the neck benefit from a treatment plan?

Carboxytherapy, RF or mesotherapy?

If the main problem is skin tension, sometimes a better direction will be radio waves. If the skin needs hydration or biorevitalisation, mesotherapy can be considered. Carboxytherapy makes sense when the goal and the area match the possibilities of this technology.

Safety and contraindications

Before the treatment we discuss chronic conditions, medications, pregnancy, breastfeeding, a tendency to bruise, circulatory problems, active infections and recent procedures in the area. After the treatment, temporary redness, a feeling of distension, tenderness or bruising are possible.

Why does the series matter?

Skin quality usually changes gradually. A single treatment may give a feeling of refreshment, but with laxity and work on the skin’s structure it is more honest to talk about a series and assessing the effects over time.

The best neck plan does not start with choosing a technology, but with assessing the skin, expectations and contraindications.
