Facial cleansing is one of the most frequently chosen salon procedures, but different methods hide behind this name. We work differently with blackhead-prone skin, differently with dehydrated city skin, and differently again with sensitive skin that flushes easily.
Hydrogen cleansing: for tired and congested skin
We treat Aqua Clean hydrogen cleansing as a refreshing, cleansing treatment that prepares the skin for further care. It works well when the complexion is dull and tends to have excess sebum, but does not require intensive manual work on every lesion.
Manual cleansing: when blackheads are the problem
Manual facial cleansing makes sense with closed comedones and clear pore congestion. It requires careful qualification, because with active inflammation, severe acne, recent treatments or strongly reactive skin it is better to calm the complexion first.
Cavitation peeling: gentler refreshment
Cavitation peeling is a gentler way to refresh the surface of the skin. It can be a good choice for a complexion that needs light smoothing, when there is no indication for stronger chemical exfoliation or manual cleansing.
How to choose a method?
- if the skin is dull, dehydrated and overloaded with SPF or make-up, consider hydrogen cleansing
- if blackheads and papules without acute inflammation dominate, manual work may be needed
- if you want gentle refreshment before an event, cavitation peeling is often enough
- if you have inflammatory acne, redness or strong sensitivity, start with a consultation
After cleansing, care matters
After any cleansing, the skin needs a calm routine: gentle washing, a barrier-supporting cream and SPF protection. With acids, retinoids and home peels it is worth waiting in line with the cosmetologist’s recommendations.
If you do not know which variant will be best, choose a cosmetology consultation. This lets us match the cleansing to the condition of the skin, not just to the name of the treatment.
