Redness and pigmentation reduction
A session with two goals at once: work on pigment changes and on redness with vessels. The choice for skin where spots and flushing occur together.
Treatment and recovery
Sensations during treatment
The session covers the area twice, so the total time of feeling warmth is longer than with a single-target protocol.
Return to everyday activities
Redness usually lasts up to a day, and pigmentation may darken for a few days before flaking. SPF 50 applies throughout the series.
Treatment plan
Usually 3-5 sessions every 3-4 weeks, followed by maintenance visits. The plan follows an assessment of the balance between pigment and vascular changes.
Two goals in one session
Skin after years of sun exposure rarely has only one concern: alongside sun spots there is redness and fine vessels. In this protocol we use two filter settings, one aimed at melanin and the other at haemoglobin, and pass over the area twice, adjusting the energy separately for each target.
Why is one protocol not always enough?
Working on pigment alone can leave visible redness, while working on vessels alone leaves spots that still draw the eye. Combining both goals gives a more coherent tone, but also requires more careful energy planning, so the session is mapped out in more detail during qualification.
How to choose the area?
The “face” option is the starting point. “Face + neck” is chosen when redness and spots continue below the jawline, and the widest option with the décolletage suits typical photoageing of that area, where spots and vessels often sit side by side. All options take 40 minutes.
Frequently asked questions about combining redness and pigmentation
Is one session enough?
Usually not. With two targets at once a series is planned, and intervals are matched to the skin response. After the first visit you tend to see the direction of change rather than the final result.
How is it different from the full procedure?
Full cellular rejuvenation adds an extended stimulation and brightening stage. This protocol concentrates on tone alone: pigment and vessels.
Treatment variants
Benefits
- Work on pigment and vessels during one visit
- A more coherent tone than with a single protocol
- Choice of area: face, face with neck or with décolletage
Who it is for
For photoaged skin where sun spots occur together with redness and vessels, including on the neck and décolletage.
What results to expect
Tone usually becomes more even: spots lighten and redness settles. The scale of improvement depends on severity, the number of sessions and sun protection.
